The first time this Bride and Groom laid eyes on their venue was the day before the wedding… and it went off without a hitch! This is a testament to both the crazy talented team of vendors and the stunning Lake Tahoe Estate where the festivities took place. How could you not fall in love with those dock views? And with an elegant design by One Fine Day Events and tons of pretty images by Mike Larson, this celebration is a combo of cozy backyard party and elegant dinner in the woods.
From One Fine Day Events… The first time Jessica and Ryan saw their wedding venue was the day before the wedding! Phew, thankfully they loved it! As they couldn’t travel to Tahoe before their wedding, we planned everything for them and sent snippets of inspiration to give them a visual of the design we created. The property at this estate is pretty stunning, so we were very fortunate to start with such a beautiful backdrop. As they wanted the wedding to feel very “Tahoe”, we incorporated natural elements along with elegant details to dress up the space. This wedding was on the smaller side with a comfortable 40 guests. This guest count provided an intimate feel for guests, allowing them to really immerse themselves into Tahoe’s charm. The reception felt like a warm and cozy dinner party in someone’s backyard which was exactly what Jessica and Ryan were shooting for! All the little details definitely added a sweet touch to this couple’s big day. Fun fact, our very own groom took initiative and designed/created the leather name tags for each of their guests place cards. To top it off the couple added another sweet touch to their wedding. They incorporated family members prayer shawls within the flowers on the Chuppah they got married under. This ceremony overlooking Tahoe’s infamous lake was so much more than a special day for their family and friends. As event planner’s there’s nothing more magical than a lakefront wedding unfolding where we like to call home, Lake Tahoe.
