Jamie and Luke’s story began as a friendship turned long distance relationship, bonding over their love of family and similar hobbies such as camping, fishing, and being outdoors.
Their first “I love you” happened just after stepping off of a helicopter at the Grand Canyon so saying “I do” against the backdrop of Olympic Valley was just perfect.
When their out of state family could no longer attend the small wedding they had planned due to Covid, the couple pivoted to an intimate elopement with just a few family members and close friends.
Jamie and Luke’s October elopement, planned by The Hytch, was held at the historic and charmingly rustic Olympic Valley Stables. The colors of Fall in the Sierra were accented by a beautiful autumn-hued tablescape.
Family and friends, young and old alike, felt honored to be present for their sweet ceremony and celebrated afterwards with donuts and champagne. And what could be happier than that?
