Summer in Tahoe is usually everyone’s favorite time to get married. But, we have a secret for you, getting married in the middle of winter is totally magical, and Ricky and Kat’s winter wedding is leaving us with a Hallmark movie wedding dream! After tying the knot at St Francis of Assisi in Incline Village, they moved the celebration to The Ritz Carlton, Lake Tahoe for a swoon-worthy wedding reception.
From a reception full of twinkle lights to Kat’s romantic dress and super chic blue velvet shoes, everything about this wedding was truly off the charts gorgeous. And, we can’t forget how sweet it is that Ricky and Kat were engaged at Garwoods in Tahoe one year before their wedding day, making their location even more special.
We’re obsessed with the festive vibe of the reception lined with Christmas trees and can’t get enough of the gorgeous florals and greenery from B & B Designs. The late-night milk and cookies helped to keep the party going late into the night. Also, Kat changed into the most gorgeous dress to close out the evening, and we are torn between which dress we like more, our vote is both! Our only question? Can more couples get married in the middle of winter?!
