Brianna and Matt chose the Aspen Grove Community Center in Incline Village, Nevada, for their late summer Lake Tahoe wedding, with photography by Rob and Marie-Louise ofVILD Photography.
Located just across Lakeshore Boulevard from Ski Beach, Aspen Grove offers close proximity to the lake for photos but also ample privacy and a relaxed, natural setting – with an abundance of pine and aspen (of course!) trees and a small creek running behind the ceremony site.
This gorgeous couple has the kind of “we saw each other from across the room” love story that love songs are written about, so it was pure perfection when Brianna walked down the aisle to a recording of “My Always,” a surprise song she wrote and sang about their relationship. Talk about a mic drop moment!
Just as their relationship was built on authentic connection, Brianna and Matt carried this same intention into the planning of their wedding day. To create a “reunion-like” atmosphere, they used a fire pit, couches, and picnic tables to ensure guests could mingle naturally. Games and a photo booth also encouraged lots of fun – the best way for family and friends to get to know each other.
As dusk arrived, the twinkling lights among the aspens only added to the party’s sweet, celebratory vibe. There were speeches, toasts, and even a few tears. Guests let their hair down, dancing, laughing, and playing games – exactly the kind of great time Brianna and Matt had in mind.
