Lizzie and Jon’s summer wedding at Northstar California Resort’s Zephyr Lodge proved that summer evenings in Tahoe are truly magical. When Nichols Photography shared this gorgeous wedding with us planned by Blue Sky Events, we couldn’t wait to share it with you too!
Northstar holds a special place in Lizzie’s heart as she grew up skiing there. So after spending many seasons speeding down the hill and enjoying hot chocolate (with whipped cream of course), Zephyr Lodge was the perfect wedding location. After taking the chairlift to the top of Northstar California Resort, Lizzie and Jon’s guests were greeted with a jaw-dropping view of the Sierra Crest. With snow capped mountains in the distance and Art In Bloom’s traditional, yet whimsical florals, it was the most classic Tahoe wedding day.
From a beautiful wooden ceremony arch to Lizzie’s simply elegant and beautiful dress, we are swooning over this sweet celebration. We’re obsessed with the pops of blue used for centerpieces and can’t get enough of the adorable mugs guests were given. And, have you seen the views from the deck at Zephyr Lodge?! We are also confident that Northstar is the best place to take your sunset photos – don’t you agree?!
