A Romantic Boho Wedding in the Woods

Golden and Dylan’s wedding was all about mountain romance and, with expert planning by She Said Yes Weddings, the bride’s childhood home was magically transformed into a stunning woodsy wedding venue.

The location started as a blank slate and getting the property ready was the first priority. Planners Karie and Alex began with measuring, more measuring (!), and mood boards, while Golden’s parents literally dug into the landscaping process.

The florals, in a stunning palette of burgundy, gold, blush, and orange, set the tone with a distinctly mountain boho vibe. For the ceremony, a semi-circle altarpiece gave the appearance of flowers growing out of the ground beneath a grove of pine trees. The vision all came together when Golden walked down the aisle as Isaac Freed of Music in Tahoe played acoustic guitar.

A clear white tent set up in the middle of the trees and adorned with garland and lights created the most beautiful dinner environment. Golden and Dylan selected a terra cotta accent color to tie together all the design elements of the day – from the groom’s custom burgundy suit from Indochino to the bridal party’s jewel-toned dresses and even a caramel drip cake. One of our favorite details from this wedding is the hedge wall holding an individual champagne toast for each guest – brilliant!

Petite Street Bistro poured Instagram-worthy, and delicious, drinks and Music in Tahoe, as always, kept the guests on their feet dancing under the starry night sky. Congratulations, Golden & Dylan – we are absolutely thrilled to share your special day! And, don’t miss Davey Hibler’s film from Dylan and Golden’s gorgeous day.
