Nikolai and Makayla’s beautiful bohemian wedding took place at Aspen Grove in Incline Village. Captured by Calvin Hobson and beautifully planned and designed by Heather Blueberg with Chateau Bliss. Surrounded by their family and closest friends, they vowed a lifetime of adventures and happiness together. Twinkle lights and macramé hung from the aspen trees as the happy couple danced to music being played on a ukulele by one of the bridesmaids. Champagne was popped and tacos were served. The donut bar was never unattended and was perfect for guests to enjoy throughout the day and night.
What we love about this wedding is the attention to detail and the special touches that showcased Nikolai and Makayla as a couple. Our favorite: Taylor Swift. The bride is a huge fan of Taylor Swift and walked down the aisle to “You are in Love” by Taylor Swift and the canvas behind the sweetheart table even had the lyrics gorgeously written on it. “You can hear it in the silence, you can feel it on the way home, you can see it with the lights out, you are in love, true love”. Many happy tears were shed that day for Nikolai and Makayla, as they really are a couple truly in love. To the flawless ceremony that was officiated by one of the bride and groom’s best friends, to the twinkling dance floor that we wished had never ended, it was the perfect wedding day.
