A French-Inspired Wedding at The Chateau in Incline Village

If there ever was a Lake Tahoe celebration that proved to be charming and elegant, Ashton and Michael’s French-inspired wedding is it.

Both Michael and Ashton grew up surrounded by the great outdoors and it was one of the many things that bonded them together. Michael grew up calling Lake Tahoe a “second home,” so when it came to selecting a wedding location Tahoe was a natural choice. Ashton spent time studying aboard in France and wanted to pay tribute to her favorite European styles and experiences. With a neutral palette of dusty blues and light pinks, the couple didn’t have to go far to find their dream venue at The Chateau in Incline Village.

Love and Lupines created elegant floral arrangements that embraced the delicate ambiance of the French countryside. What made this day exceptional was the surprise appearance of Copper, the couple’s Goldendoodle, who had the honor of escorting Michael down the aisle. Adorn Life Photography captured the most stunning photo of the bride in her BHLDN gown as she gracefully walked to the altar.

This special day wouldn’t be complete without the picture-perfect desserts by Happy Tiers Bakery. They recreated some of France’s traditional sweets from macaroons to a delicious croquembouche. Hats off to Events by Ashton for creating this breathtaking wedding.
