When you meet Corrinne and Cam, you can’t help but feel how deep their love runs not only for each other but for life, the outdoors, and adventures. Corrinne and Cam, both competitive collegiate skiers, knew there was only one setting that could embody their lifestyle, Sugar Bowl Resort. She was raised skiing the Sierra Mountains, while he was on the slopes of Vermont. They both were living on the east coast, when they met at a friend’s California wedding and instantly hit it off.
A spectacular day full of many details, Corrinne even made her grand entrance to the ceremony in a vintage Sugar Bowl gondola chauffeured by a close family friend, decked in a top hat, tails and ski boots dragging behind.
For cocktail hour, guests rode up the iconic Disney Express Lift where they enjoyed appetizers and libations while relishing in the views of Donner Lake, Van Norden Meadow and all of the surrounding landscapes. Guests found their lift ticket place cards as they entered the outdoor reception. Each guest received a lift ticket with a ski resort the bride and groom had visited together and they were tasked with finding their assigned trail at their table to take their seat. It was a day that truly bared the essence of Tahoe, it’s historic past, and all the down-to-earth experiences this area provides.
