Bold, beautiful, and heaven-scent (ha!), the exotic stargazer lily is one of my new favorite discoveries this season. A hybrid of the Oriental lily group, these midsummer blooms were originally created in 1978 and are known for their brilliant colors and incredible fragrance. Lilies are known to symbolize many things, including innocence, purity, romance, wealth, and prosperity – all pretty wonderful signs for a happy marriage, don’t you think?
