At Tahoe Unveiled, we have been an admirer of Jannie Baltzer’s work for years now; loving her unique design style, the delicacy of her creations and her eye for detail. Not to mention the way she imbues her romantic, vintage-inspired pieces, with a distinctly bohemian twist that make them as perfect for the modern bride as they are for us vintage lovers.
Crafted from the most luxurious materials including guipure lace, French lace and the softest silk tulle, and then hand embellished with Preciosa crystals and pearls in the most exquisite botanical inspired details; her halos, veils, vines, and headpieces (all made in her studio on Copenhagen) are the epitome of boho chic. Before we share her 2016 collection, let’s hear a bit more about the line from Jannie:
I love the lightness of Scandinavian nature and design and was inspired to combine the natural elements and beauty of a Swedish summer with a honeymoon feel. I imagined a couple Celebrating their wedding or honeymoon – just the two of them having the most wonderful time, feeling free, laughing and celebrating love. My 2016 collection is quite rustic with lots of texture and opulent Preciosa crystals, but still has a very light feel and it fits perfectly into the Scandinavian style. We were so lucky to shoot at Ystad Saltsjöbad – a very exclusive spa in Sweden where the feeling of wedding and Honeymoon was just perfect. This year’s collection is a tribute to Scandinavian style, lightness and design – simple yet with a boho feel.
